

Lakshmi Alagappan + Ms. Alagappan joined E3 in 2008 after finishing her M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (Atmosphere/Energy program) at Stanford University. Her work at E3 has focused on transmission planning for renewables, market valuation of energy storage technologies, and utility regulatory strategy. Her experience includes a summer fellowship with the Air & Energy division of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), research under Professor Frank Wolak on the impacts of oil price volatility on individual state economies in the United States, and an internship with E3 studying interconnection and service policies for wind generators. She also has a B.A. in Economics from Stanford University.
