Dr. Jeremy Hargreaves + Dr. Hargreaves joined E3 in 2010 after completing his PhD in Geography and Environmental Engineering at the Johns Hopkins University. His research involved using optimization modeling techniques for economic decision support in land and energy management. His modeling applications include decision tools for land use planning in the Great Lakes region, stochastic unit commitment modeling of the Netherlands electricity grid, and metamodeling of large scale energy planning models. Dr. Hargreaves’ work at E3 has focused on transmission planning, rate design, and unit dispatch modeling. He also holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College, London.
