

Jack Moore +Mr. Moore has worked extensively on projects to analyze transmission planning decisions related to reliability, economics, and renewable resource development throughout the Western United States and Canada. Mr. Moore has led projects that utilize large scale production simulation models to assess the benefits of a western energy imbalance market, the risk of transmission curtailment, and the effect of proposed policies changes on energy market prices. His also has strong experience in solar and wind resource modeling, strategic transmission siting analysis, and assessment of non-wires alternatives. His projects include work for the California ISO, the California Public Utilities Commission, the Western Electric Coordinating Council (WECC), Bonneville Power Administration, BrightSource Energy, Electric Power Research Institute, and the State Of Idaho. Prior to joining E3 in 2006, Mr. Moore provided economic and financial consulting analysis for commercial litigation cases at Cornerstone Research. Mr. Moore earned a B.A. from Stanford in Economics, and an M.S. in Management Science and Engineering with an energy policy and strategy focus from Stanford University.
