Andy Taylor +Mr. Taylor recently joined E3 bringing his expertise in renewable energy markets, combined with fifteen years of experience as an entrepreneur and team leader for innovators in the software industry.  Mr. Taylor has managed key sections of the successful DOE loan guarantee application for BrightSource Energy which resulted in a $1.6 billion loan for the company’s first commercial solar thermal project.  He has made significant contributions to Series D and Series E financing rounds and to project finance efforts for Ivanpah and earned primary responsibility for market and competitive analysis for BrightSource.  Mr. Taylor’s other experiences have included being the founder and CEO of a successful software company for three years before being recruited by Microsoft. He has also led development and product management teams for Yahoo!, Microsoft and Oracle.
