Stuart Mueller has over 15 years’ experience in the energy industry spanning Electricity and Oil and Natural Gas markets, and heads our Canadian office in Calgary. He currently supports the growth of E3’s Asset Valuation practice while also expanding E3’s reach in Canada across all practice areas.

Stuart’s current clients include institutional investors, infrastructure funds, project developers, and utilities on valuing and assessing assets, projects, and portfolios that support the clean energy transition and the reliable provision of electricity. His work has included leading teams supporting multi-billion dollar investments in utilities and asset portfolios, strategic frameworks for utilities to assess and prioritize capital allocation, and rate-design filings before the National Energy Board and the Alberta Utilities Commission. Stuart has appeared before the NEB as a witness on a number of occasions.

Stuart leads the Canadian office in Calgary with a focus on growing E3’s presence in asset valuation, resource planning, and climate pathways studies. He has worked across all Canadian provinces in addition to the Yukon Territory. Outside of work, Stuart spends most weekends in the mountains – skiing, biking, fly fishing, and camping.
