Tianyu Feng joined E3 in 2021 with over four years of experience in the demand response management programs at the Willdan. He works primarily in E3’s Climate Pathways and Electrification practice area, where he helps utility, regulatory agencies, and private companies to meet decarbonization goals through building electrification.

Tianyu believes that the climate and environmental challenges needs the collaboration of different sectors such as government, utilities to private investors. Tianyu was drawn to E3 by the ongoing diverse and innovative projects.

Prior to joining E3, Tianyu’s work focused on evaluating various energy efficiency strategies, building energy modeling, and project management that help owners, builders, architects, and engineers to optimize the energy performance of their new construction and major renovation projects. Before that, Tianyu was the first recipient of the John Weidt Research Fellowship at the Weidt Group, where he conducted extensive research on the multi-aspect energy performance of buildings across all 8 U.S. climate zones.

Outside of work, Tianyu is passionate about international politics and fashion. He also enjoys taking long walks in the city with his dog Chudo.
