Ye Zheng
Ye Zheng supports E3’s Asset Valuation practice area. Ye joined E3 after earning her master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Stanford University. During her graduate study, she explored different areas of the building and energy sector. Her experiences include analyzing data for LEED-certified buildings at U.S. Green Building Council, developing optimization and financial models for commercial solar and battery projects, and assessing hydrology variations and market risks for renewable energy procurement plans at the California Department of Water Resources.
Ye is particularly drawn to E3’s work in supporting decarbonization and renewables transition from the electricity market perspective. She enjoys working on E3 projects that considers broad spectrum of policy, economy, technology, and social equality. At E3, she has been supporting utility transaction diligence and market development strategy analysis. Her interests span from emerging energy technology development, and battery storage optimization, to regional energy and building decarbonization pathways.
Outside of work, Ye enjoys exploring different restaurants, visiting local markets, and cooking with friends. She also loves outdoor activities, venturing national parks for hiking and taking photographs of landscapes and animals.
