Fritz Kahrl

Dr. Fredrich (Fritz) Kahrl, Director + Dr. Kahrl joined E3 in 2011, after finishing Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in the Energy and Resources Group at U.C. Berkeley. His areas of expertise include energy policy modeling and evaluation, greenhouse gas accounting, energy efficiency cost-effectiveness evaluation, and macroeconomic analysis. Prior to joining E3, Fritz worked as a sub-contractor for E3; as a research associate for Berkeley Economic Advising and Research; as a consultant for the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the OECD, the World Agroforestry Center, and the World Bank; and as staff for the World Resources Institute. He has lived in and worked in China for more than five years and speaks fluent Mandarin Chinese.
