Dr. Asher Tishler + Dr. Tishler is Professor of Economics at Tel Aviv University. With his expertise in energy economics, econometrics, operations research and managerial economics, he has provided consulting services to the Energy and Budget Offices of Israel Government and several electric utilities. His consulting interests include electricity deregulation, integrated resource planning, time- of- use pricing, demand estimation and outage cost estimation. Dr. Tishler co-authored the generation capacity expansion model for Israel and has published extensively in such journals as the Energy Journal, Resources and Energy and the Journal of International Economics. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
