Gregory Gangelhoff
Gregory Gangelhoff joined E3 and the firm’s Asset Valuation & Markets practice area in 2020. He is based in E3’s San Francisco office.
At E3, Greg leads teams to provide strategic advisory services, transaction support, market research services, and financial analysis for investors, developers, utilities, and planners. He is excited about supporting complex and first-of-their-kind transactions that drive decarbonization across stakeholders and promote emerging technologies. In particular, Greg has worked extensively to support clients in the hydrogen sector, and continues to analyze and evaluate the potential paths forward for this industry.
Prior to joining E3, Greg worked in the Power, Utilities, and Energy Infrastructure M&A group in the investment banking division of Bank of America Securities in New York. During this time, he advised on over $1 billion in M&A transactions in the North America renewable energy and utility sectors. Prior to working in finance, Mr. Gangelhoff was an economist and Presidential Management Fellow at the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where he analyzed U.S. foreign assistance funding and climate policy in sectors including energy, infrastructure, and conservation across Eastern Europe, Africa, and Asia.
Greg is an avid foodie, video gamer, board gamer, and runner, as well as a part-time PC builder. He grew up in Indonesia and Malaysia.
